As we in New York like to say, this is “something lite”. Meaning, you’re not doing to much with an outfit, it’s straight and to the point. While taking a weekend trip, consider a weekend bag where you can put enough clothes for 2 or 3 days max. My weekend bag I purchased a few years ago at Urban Outfitters for a really great price. What I liked most about this bag, was it’s double sided space and red shoulder strap. For a good weekend bag you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg. You can check out Target or even Nordstrom during their summer sale :).
My shorts weren’t always shorts, they were a pair of chinos that I really liked from French Connection. But as my style grew, my love for the chinos slowly declined. I tried giving them away but I wear size 28-29 in F.C.U.K. So, I decided to turn them into shorts and what a great idea that was. My favorite colors are earth tons, they go well with particularly everything. I paired my green French Connection shorts with my blue Zara go to jacket, my French Connection polo that has a combination of blue and green, a brown belt, burgundy loafers and my tortoise shell TopMan glasses. This outfit would be perfect if you’re traveling out of the country, instate, grabbing lunch, a date or even hanging out with your boys. Just know you’ll be the freshest one.
