Creating a theme for your summer picnic with Whole Foods Market
There are a few things in summer or even in life that are best to do with 2 or more people. Attending a music or film festival, traveling to different cities or countries, going to the beach, and enjoying a picnic. Understanding that life is short and precious; you always want to be able to rest, unplug from the world, and enjoy great people in your life. Being a lifestyle men’s online publication just doesn’t mean style or dressing well, it also means a healthy lifestyle
Men’s fashion isn’t only style or clothes; it also means healthy living, inside and out. With dressing well, you have to be aware of what you put in your body, your diet, and exercising at least once or twice a week. When you feel well inside and out your body feels great and your clothes fit better; with also the help of your trusted tailor. Making sure you’re eating the right amount of fats, vegetables, meats, grains, and fruits will determine how healthy you are and how much energy your body has.
I partnered with Whole Foods Market to put together a themed summer picnic around their summer stone fruit. A stone fruit also called a drupe is a fruit with a large stone inside (mangos, peaches, plums, and cherries). I’m not a huge cherry fruit fan but I do love a great challenge. Since the theme for this article was stone fruit or cherries. I wanted to create something cool and fun for my summer picnic. The first item I needed to think about was a summer drink. I personally enjoy lemonade in the summer time, I think that’s one of the southern vibes I picked up while living in Houston. The drink of choice was a spiked cherry lemonade with a splash or half of bottle of vodka, for taste.
Your picnic won’t be complete without pairings, the right pairings. A great picnic consists of an assortment of cheeses, fruits, nuts, and spreads. Don’t forget your JBL Flip 3 portable speaker for those summer vibes.
